pennivault is a monthly budgeting app. Here's why it exists.
Why I built it
I've always paid close attention to how I spend money. Making more money matters, but I believe the way you use the money you already have deserves the same effort, maybe more. And the simplest way to spend better is to know where your money goes.
So I tracked my expenses in Excel for years. It worked, but only when I was at my laptop. I'd go out, spend money, and by the time I got home I'd forgotten some of what I spent. Then I'd open my bank app, scroll through my transactions and type each one into the sheet.
I wanted something I could use from anywhere, that would stop me logging every transaction by hand. So I built it. With pennivault you plan your month, record what you spend wherever you are, and if you want, your bank alerts in Gmail add transactions for you.
I'm Yves Kwameh, a design engineer and no-code developer. I design digital products and build websites for businesses. pennivault is the product I built for myself first.
